Procedure to Carry a pet in Flight

In order to carry a pet along with you in a flight journey the following documents are required:

-Vaccination Certificate of the Pet.
-Fit to Fly certificate from  the 
veterinary physician.
-Ticket to be issued from an IATA accredited agent or directly from the Airline.

Spicejet is the only Domestic Carrier that offers this facility. One cannot carry a pet in GoAir,Indigo or AirAsia or any other Carrier. However,for flights operated by AirAsia India(I5) and AirAsia Japan (DJ),service animals for guests with disability are allowed.
The charges to carry the pet depends upon the volume/size of the cage that is provided in which the pet is placed.One needs to report at least  two hours prior to departure at the Airport and get in touch with the cargo department for the Clearance Procedure.

For any other clarification one can call on the Spicejet helpline number or can call directly on the Cargo Department of the airport.
